Gulden Draak 9000 Quadrupel Maybe inspired by the above,Van Steenberge's new very strong beer recipe uses 3 different kinds of malt added in a volume that is 4 times the content used in lagers. This provides Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple with a deep golden amber colour and a fruity scent. Together with the smooth and subtle sweet taste this ensures this a wonderfully accomplished bouquet. Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple is top fermented with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. A wine yeast is used for this secondary fermentation, which also contributes to the grandiose taste.
